Cookie Policy

What this site stores on your device, and what it does not.

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. This page sets out what this site uses, why, and how to refuse it. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

The short version

This site is deliberately light. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party trackers for marketing, and does not build a profile of you across other websites.

What we use

  • Strictly necessary — a session cookie set by our hosting to keep the site working and to protect the enquiry form from automated abuse. These do not need your consent because the site cannot function without them.
  • Preference — where the site remembers a choice you made, such as which pricing panel you last opened, it is stored in your own browser and never sent to us.
  • Analytics — if we run analytics, it is to count page views and see which guidance is read. It is set only with your agreement, and refusing it does not change how the site works for you.

Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address reaches Google when a font file is fetched. If we move to self-hosted fonts we will update this page.

What we do not use

  • No advertising or retargeting pixels.
  • No social media tracking buttons.
  • No cross-site profiling or data brokerage.
  • No cookies that identify you personally without your agreement.

How to refuse or remove cookies

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings — usually under Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the enquiry form working. Removing cookies will also clear any preference the site was remembering for you.

Legal basis

We rely on the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 and the UK GDPR: strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent, everything else is set only if you agree.
